  • Ph.D. in Business Administration, The Pennsylvania State University, 2000

POSITIONS HELD

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with three years of experience as auditor.
  • In Cyprus she has also worked for Barclays Bank International, accounts department (1991-92), and as senior auditor for Coopers & Lybrand (1992-95).

RESEARCH INTERESTS

International capital markets and the relevance of accounting information to the allocation of capital within the economy. Specific interests include the valuation of analyst earnings forecasts and mandatory accounting disclosures in both the US and international markets, and earnings management.

INSTITUTE MEMBERSHIP

Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant and the Texas State Board of Public Accounting.
