Dr. Ofer Zwikael is a researcher, educator and consultant in the field of project management. Now he is an Associate Professor of the School of Management, Marketing and International Business, College of Business and Economics, at the Australian National University. Dr. Zwikael was the senior lecturer at the Victoria Management School of the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Prior to joining Victoria, he acted as the head of the department of Management of Technology at the Holon Institute of Technology, the staff member at the graduate school of business at Netanya Academic College and the lecturer at the graduate school of business at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He also led projects and program groups in dozens of organizations, in Israel and Europe.


Ofer has a first degree with distinction in Industrial Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA in Business Administration from Tel-Aviv University, Israel. His PhD thesis included the development of a tool for project planning assessment, which was used by many organizations to improve their project planning capabilities. Ofer is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP®) and acted for two years as a vice president (research) in the executive board of the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Israeli chapter.
