David Tripe

David Tripe
David Tripe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance Banking & Property and Director of the Centre for Banking Studies, Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. He joined the University in February 1994 after a banking career lasting 17 years.


The Centre for Banking Studies is a specialist teaching group at Massey University, focusing on teaching at a post-graduate level to people who work in banks (most teaching is therefore by distance education methods, to part-time students). The Centre strives to maintain a close working relationship with the banks who provide some of its students, so as to allow it to offer courses which reflect the industry.
