ALAN K. REICHERT, Ph.D. is Professor of Finance, College of Business Administration, Cleveland State University. His academic interests are financial institutions and markets, and real estate valuation. He holds a Masters and a Ph.D. degree from the Ohio State University. He is a Fulbright Scholar, KeyBank Applied Business Scholar, and a Senior Research Fellow at the Swedish School of Business and Economics in Finland. He has served as an economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and as a consultant on a number of property devaluation and bank litigation cases. He has published in various finance and real estate journals on a wide range of topics.
