Irena Bakanauskiene

From 1976 to 1981 she was a student at Kaunas Polytechnic Institute, Department of Automatics. In 1982-1985 she worked on research in the company "Vilma". During 1985-1988 she was a doctoral student at the Moscow Management Institute, Department of Management Theory. In 1988 she received her doctor's degree in social sciences. She edited the manuals "Management" and "Essentials of Hyman Resource Management", has published 2 books (with co-authors) and over 20 publications.
In 1989-1994 she worked as an assistant, a senior lecturer, and an associate professor at Kaunas University of Technology, Department of Management. Since 1993 she has worked as a consultant in the Technology Transfer Center. Since February 1993 she has been an associate professor in the Faculty of Business and Management, Vytautas Magnus University. Since 2000 September appointed. Vice-dean of Economics and Management Faculty. Courses: Personnel Management; Managerial Decision Making; Management; Management Theories; Organization of Manager's Work. Research: Personnel Management; Managerial Decision Making; Problems of Management in Organizations. She edited the manuals "Management" and "Essentials of Hyman Resource Management", has published 2 books (with co-authors) and over 20 publications.
