List of journals recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Business Perspectives' journals)
In Ukraine, the practice of creating a list of academic journals (for Ukrainian journals) has long been introduced. The list was formed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. A postgraduate degree seeker should publish several scientific articles in journals from the list. The procedure for the journal inclusion was purely formal, and the requirements were so insignificant that everyone interested should get on the list. In 2018, the Ministry has created new, more severe requirements for journals and classified them into three categories according to complex of formal features.
The selection procedure became more rigid. Although requirements for journals are formal and do not take into account their quality, adherence to the ethical principles and compliance with best practices are a significant step forward.
Therefore, Business Perspectives has decided to submit some of its journals to the list.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine's order No. 1218 dated November 7, 2018, category "A" includes the following journals: Banks and Bank Systems; Investment Management & Financial Innovations; and Problems and Perspectives in Management. Category B includes Public and Municipal Finance; Environmental Economics; Innovative Marketing; and Insurance Markets and Companies.
So currently, category "A" includes 18 journals, and category "B" includes 27 journals.
