Views: 605 Downloads: 311 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThis study aimed to identify current research trends and future directions in the field of emotional intelligence and job performance through bibliometric and thematic analysis. Data were collected from 327 documents published between 2000 and 2024 in the Scopus database. Using descriptive statistics, bibliometric analysis, and thematic analysis with VOSViewer software, the findings indicate that the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance has been a longstanding research focus and continues to grow, especially in fields like business and management, with concentrated research efforts in leading developed nations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Thematic analysis identified five primary research directions and confirmed the strong relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance. Particularly in critical fields like education, healthcare, information technology, banking, and hospitality, this topic has received considerable attention and is expected to continue producing notable research in the future. Additionally, the study’s findings suggest that the rapid advancement of science and technology, multicultural business environments, and the increasing complexity of workplace crises and conflict resolution underscore the necessity for continued exploration of emotional intelligence and its connection to job performance. Future research in this area is anticipated to diversify and expand across various industries and organizational types, adapting to the evolving demands of modern business settings.

Problems and Perspectives in Management Volume 22, 2024 Issue #4 pp. 635-648
Views: 299 Downloads: 96 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThe objective of this study is to analyze the existing literature and highlight significant trends in the area of entrepreneurial intention and innovation among students. The data employed in this analysis were sourced from the Scopus database, covering 361 publications in English over the last ten years (from 2014 to 2024, as of the survey conducted on September 10, 2024). The method employed is bibliometric analysis with the support of the VOSViewer software. The findings show that the topic of entrepreneurial intention and innovation among students is a rather interesting subject, which has been widely published in reputable journals, particularly in the fields of education, training, and entrepreneurship. This topic has been extensively researched in Asian countries, with China standing out as the top contributor in terms of the number of publications. Through bibliometric analysis, this study has also identified four main research themes related to the topic of entrepreneurial intention and innovation among students. They are: (1) the effect of individual student characteristics on entrepreneurial intention; (2) the role of education and innovation in shaping students’ entrepreneurial intentions; (3) utilizing the theory of planned behavior to explore factors influencing social entrepreneurial intentions among students in higher education; (4) the influence of entrepreneurship education on the development of students’ entrepreneurial mindset and actions. Furthermore, this study has outlined nine promising future research directions that aim to enhance both the quantity and quality of studies on students’ entrepreneurial intentions and innovation.

Relationship between enforcement of labor social welfare laws and internal CSR, job satisfaction: a qualitative study at commercial banks in Vietnam
Banks and Bank Systems Volume 19, 2024 Issue #3 pp. 32-44
Views: 428 Downloads: 136 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThis study aimed to explore the relationship between three factors: enforcement of labor social welfare labor laws, internal corporate social responsibility (CSR) implementation, and job satisfaction as perceived by managers in the commercial banking sector. The research utilized a qualitative research method – in-depth interviews based on a semi-structured questionnaire with 20 experienced managers from 11 commercial banks in Vietnam, an emerging economy. Findings indicated a positive reciprocal relationship between enforcement of social welfare labor laws and internal CSR responsibilities of enterprises. Additionally, enforcing labor social welfare laws and internal CSR implementation positively impacted employee job satisfaction. The study also identified five aspects of internal CSR implementation towards employees: (1) timely and full payment of wages, bonuses, and benefits; (2) establishing a conducive work environment; (3) policies addressing human rights, health, and safety at work; (4) fair and democratic treatment, providing training and career advancement opportunities, and protecting employees through organizational activities; (5) having legal norms, procedures, mechanisms for recording, feedback, monitoring, and reasonable evaluation of job performance. These findings contribute to enriching both theoretical understanding and practical implications regarding the interplay of these three factors in commercial banks, encouraging managers to effectively implement social welfare laws and internal CSR implementation.

Current and potential research directions on the law of free trade zones: A bibliometric analysis (2004–2024)
Problems and Perspectives in Management Volume 23, 2025 Issue #2 pp. 444-454
Views: 456 Downloads: 8 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThis study aims to explore and identify key past research directions and propose future research avenues related to the legal framework of free trade zones (FTZs). The bibliometric data were collected through the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) database systems. After merging the datasets and filtering English-language publications from 2004 to 2024, a total of 103 documents were retained. The research methodology employed in this study includes descriptive statistics and keyword co-occurrence analysis, supported by the VOSViewer software. The findings reveal that China is the leading country in publishing research on the legal aspects of FTZs. Past studies have formed four clusters corresponding to four fundamental research directions. They include (1) Arbitration and dispute resolution in China’s free trade areas; (2) The impact of international trade laws and regulations on risk assessment and tax systems in global trade, including FTZs; (3) The role of financial and governance regulations in pilot FTZs; and (4) The legal framework and impact of FTZs in Shanghai and special economic zones on international trade. This study contributes evidence showing that China is a pioneering country in researching, developing, and refining legal policies for free trade zones in order to enhance its impact on the global economy.
