Congratulations to all authors with the release of the Issue #2 (cont. 1) of “Problems and Perspectives in Management” Journal. The issue contains 12 articles from different countries (Italy, Norway, Ukraine, Indonesia, Czech Republic, USA, Nigeria, South Africa). We kindly invite the authors and the visitors of our website to get acquainted with Issue #2 (cont. 1) (Volume 15, 2017). The essence of the paper is to substantiate the urgent need to not only modernize the functions of the leading institutes of economy and society, but also to redefine the roles and approve a new format of interaction in the triad “market – state- business” in the conditions of realities and challenges of our time. The materials of the paper prove the necessity to form new academic thinking as for interrelationship, subordination, interdependence of the market, state and business. The authors call the potential readers to rethink the eternal postulates, well-established canons, methodological prerequisites of distant past and, at the same time, to search and perceive new facets of both the economic and noneconomic world, to form new theoretical and methodological tools, which reflect the patterns of development, philosophy of economy and society of the beginning of new millennium.

“Business Perspectives” chose to support scholars from universities of Ukraine as one of prioritized directions. To this end, in February of 2017, the publisher announced the contest for best scholarly articles by Ukrainian authors on conditions that each journal will publish five selected articles free of charge and another five articles with a substantial discount. Submission period for the contest has ended on May 31, and selected articles will be published by the end of this year. Furthermore, in order to support Ukrainian authors, “Business Perspectives” is partnering with top economic universities in the country. Recently, we have signed partnership memorandums with National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics. Today, the memorandum has been signed with another partner – Kyiv National Economic University. The publisher is looking forward to receive quality research papers from scholars from these universities.

“Business Perspectives” and National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy have signed a Memorandum on partnership and cooperation. We consider publication of the results of research of scholars from one of the leading Ukrainian universities to be a big step in the process of global integration for the representatives of social sciences in Ukraine.
